The gas storage facility consists of a compressor and extraction station for the process processing of natural gas and comprises four storage locations with 8 storage caverns.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"559\" height=\"424\" src=\"https:\/\/pse-eng.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/tr.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15532\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pse-eng.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/tr.jpg 559w, https:\/\/pse-eng.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/tr-300x228.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pse-eng.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/tr-16x12.jpg 16w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 559px) 100vw, 559px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The storage caverns have a geometric volume of approx. 2.94 billion m\u00b3 and are connected to the above-ground facility via field pipelines. The connection to the gas pipeline will be made via a new high-pressure pipeline to be built to the Dutch gas transmission network of Gasunie Transport Services (GTS).
