SOLAR PLANT – PROJECT IN GERMANY, JEMGUM

The customer operates an underground storage facility for natural gas at the Jemgum site. For the soling of eight salt caverns on three cavern collection points, a brine facility including a fresh water extraction structure was built on the Ems.

The planning and construction included the entire building and station infrastructure for the brine plant with the necessary auxiliary and ancillary systems. These include the main brine pumps, brine transport pumps including low-volume pumps, nitrogen blanket system, brine settling tanks, brine transport lines, MV/LV switchgear and process control system.

As part of the project, PSE was commissioned with project management, planning, as well as construction and commissioning supervision.
