The client, a leading company in the energy sector, relied on innovative solutions to optimize its natural gas infrastructure in the Czech Republic. The facility is located in a strategically important region in the south of the country and plays a key role in energy supply. To enhance storage efficiency, this project involved integrating three high-performance natural gas compressors into the existing underground storage facility.

Our tasks included planning, engineering, procurement, packaging, assembly, commissioning, and documentation of the facility. The compressor system was designed for serial operation in injection mode and parallel operation in withdrawal mode. Equipped with a HydroCom system for precise capacity control, the gas engines ensure high efficiency and reliability. Our project represents a significant step toward enhancing the efficiency of natural gas storage and distribution facilities, ensuring reliable and sustainable energy supply for the region and beyond.
THE TECHNICAL DATA OF THE PLANT
- SUCTION PRESSURE: 4 barg
The flexible suction pressure range of 45 to 65 barg ensures reliable operation under varying conditions. The nominal value of 56 barg represents the optimal operating condition. - DISCHARGE PRESSURE: 85 barg:
The discharge pressure range of up to 206 barg enables efficient gas compression for transport or storage and supports flexible operation between 80 and 206 barg. - FLOW RATE: 700 Nm³/h
With a flow rate of 65,000 Nm³/h, the facility can efficiently process large volumes of gas. This capacity ensures continuous and reliable supply, even under high-demand conditions. - POWER INPUT: 4,500 kW
The facility is powered by a motor with a power input of 3,650 kW. This ensures reliable and efficient gas compression and stable operation, even under demanding conditions
